Ph.D and NIH Postdoctoral Fellow - Organic Chemistry. Synthesis of Complex Natural Products
I worked at Glaxo R&D and its successor companies GlaxoWellcome and GlaxoSmithKline, and TransTech Pharma and its successor company vTv Therapeutics, total 33 years experience.
I have taken on and solved problems in-
- target discovery and modelling - genomics, molecular modelling (protein and small molecule)
- Lead generation (in silico and biological), target validation
- Lead optimization - tuning of potential product for potency, selectivity, pharmacokinetic behavior,
- Formulation - solid dose as well as parenteral formulation, and formulation for preclinical utility
- Manufacturing - GMP manufacturing for clinical studies of both active ingredient and solid dose/parenteral dose administration
- Analytical; method development for GLP/GMP, as well as troubleshooting difficult analytical problems in manufacturing and product evaluation
- Regulatory - experienced in submission preparation, early development through registration
